My girlfriend is a permanent resident of HK. For us it would be easiest to get married so I can have a visa. Does it matter where we get married? Are there different rules if we got married in Europe?

It doesn't really matter where you get married with your girlfriend. After married, just need to go to Immigration dept with the certificate then they will help you.
