| Rental reimbursement I've got a job that pays me rental reimbursement up to a certain amount. However if I buy an apartment and live in it I get nothing. I really prefer to buy than rent so it seems the only way i can gain is to rent a place and live in it and at at the same time buy a place and rent it out. Are there such things as shared equity apartments in HK? Something along the lines of a 50-50 split on ownership where I pay rent on the bit I don't own? |

| An alternative would be to buy the apartment in the name of a trust or a company. Or your parents, wife, etc. As long as you do everything on an "arms length" basis, ie at market value, then you should be ok. Just a suggestion. |
