kia its an olevia flat screen panel purchased a year or so ago.

ok, the other interesting portion, while my fren was unable to hear the sound on his tv for the standard aerial, he was able to use this TV when he got the set-top box for his cable. so does cable frequency falls outside the incompatibility zone. i know cable tend to cyclically repeat their transmission and that could probably answer why he was able to hear the sound from cable.
