Hello everybody!!!

Well.. long time I don't enjoy a Dim Sum geo-gathering, so let?s try to arrange one...

Venue: The restaurant at Hopewell Center is not bad since the views are great, however, there is another restaurant at Hong Kong City Hall (Central) that seems more famous for locals... Anyway, we can decide together: please vote.

Time: 1.30-2.00pm Sunday. Please note that we need time for sleeping after Saturday crazy night... so meeting before is too risky.

Cost: Both are very cheap

Well, hope some people can do it, for Dim Sum, like for almost everything else, the more, the merrier hahaha

Hi - not sure if I can go yet but I can tell you that the dim sum restaurant at City Hall is fantastic! It's definitely my favorite place in HK to go for dim sum (I grew up here). I'll let you know either later today or early tomorrow if I can make it.

I doubt if you can get a table as it's usually crowded over there. They may not accept reservation....

not sure if other places have this but Hoi Yuet seafood and hot pot restaurant have really good dim sum at HALF PRICE on weekends.
it's on queen's road central past the Centre.

I also planned to go to City Hall this Sunday. The froggies have to vote for their next President and since I usually vote around lunch time, it is almost a tradition to go Yam Cha after voting.

I'll come see you guys if I can spot the Geo table.

Actually I already tried twice City Hall, and I agree if very good. I never had big problem with the table.. apart from waiting hehehe, but I guess this is part of the experience.

So, should we do City Hall then?

By the way, Armani bar on Monday? Sounds good!!!

I've been to the Hopewell Center restaurant before and it was pretty good. And yeah, great views! I can't make it this Sunday either... but please post about any more future dim sum gatherings.

Hey!

So yesterday night I got some extra people for dim-sum, good la! Since it takes a while to get a table, we will meet at 13.30 and then will be having lunch by 14.00.

We can meet there directly or in Central MTR, Exit TBC. :-p
