This article from Asia Times suggests the Vietnam stock market, along with the future prospects of the economy, look good. Still, there is a lot of speculation going on, and many of the promising startup companies will fail, just as they did in the US during the crash of the internet bubble.
If I were to invest in the market, I would look for an ETF and be prepared to hold for the long term, several years, because it will be a bumpy ride.
