Nice photos - the weather looked great .. .. *looks outside at the lovely grey Hong Kong sky* .. .. .. and seems like you enjoyed plenty of nice food!

Do you stay at One Crescent Place? Would you recommend it? Was Discovery Shores the new place that just opened? Did that look nice?

Cheers

We stayed in http://www.onecrescentplace.com/html/index.html and
http://www.puntarosa.ph.

One Crescent Place is clean and neat. But it is not beach-front resort and the room is very small (as small as room in HK apartment). The service is very friendly though. We paid HK$800 per night because Easter is peak season. I think it is a bit expensive for its room size and location.

Punta Rosa has hugh room and prefect ocean-view. We paid HK$1100 per night.

Discovery Shores was the new place that was just opened. It looks very nice, it costs HK$1700 per night.

Just out of interest, what is the easiest (i.e. quickest) way of getting ot Boracay?

Basically is it possible to go there for a long weekend from HK?

Thanks!

2hrs for HK-Manila flight
1 hrs for Manila international airport to domestic airport (include time for x-ray and check-in procedures)
40 mins Manila- Caticlan airport
30 mins Caticlan airport-Caticlan pier-Boracay pier
15 mins Boracay pier to Boracay resorts

I think Boracay requires 5 day 4 night stay.

there's really no easy way to get there, that's the only negative about it. you have to fly to manila, then fly to kalibo, then take a van to the other side of the island for about an hour ride, then a 10 min speedboat ride to boracay island. it will take a whole day just for transportation to get to and from there, but it's def worth it if you don't mind all the travel time.
