am wondering whether i should use gas or electricity for cooking/ boiling water etc.

i think electricity is more expensive on a per usage basis, but gas charges u some ridiculous base charges maybe to pay for the piping infrastructure, etc.. then u'd have to consider how much u going to cook and what kind of thing u going to cook to decide.
