IE7 No Copy Paste Function Since I started using IE7 I just cannot copy and paste a url. I have to open Fire Fox copy there and then go back into IE7 and paste where I wanted it. HELP it is so so annoying. Last edited by goodkarma; 06-04-2007 at 07:07 PM. Reason: Spelling

OK an example - when I wanted to post the web address of Helena May for someone here, I had to open Fire Fox and copy then come back to this site where I was logged in via IE7 to paste. I've never been able to use the copy paste function since I downloaded IE7 a few months ago. Last edited by goodkarma; 06-04-2007 at 11:22 PM. Reason: mistake

No, not that either. I am the ONLY person I know who has this problem.......mind you lots of people are still using an older version of IE

The copy part works but then when I try to paste, there is no option - it is not highlighted.

Must be a pop-up blocker. Check the top of the screen just under the toolbars for a flashing prompt. Enable/allow scripts and try again.

gosh discobay, this is so frustrating. I see no pop up blocker or anything unusual. Right now when I try to highlight the address of this page, the 'copy' does not show as highlighted and therefore does not work. If I open FF it does.
