IE7 No Copy Paste Function

Since I started using IE7 I just cannot copy and paste a url. I have to open Fire Fox copy there and then go back into IE7 and paste where I wanted it.

HELP it is so so annoying.

OK an example - when I wanted to post the web address of Helena May for someone here, I had to open Fire Fox and copy then come back to this site where I was logged in via IE7 to paste.

I've never been able to use the copy paste function since I downloaded IE7 a few months ago.

Does CTRL + C in the address bar work?

The copy part works but then when I try to paste, there is no option - it is not highlighted.

Must be a pop-up blocker. Check the top of the screen just under the toolbars for a flashing prompt. Enable/allow scripts and try again.

gosh discobay, this is so frustrating. I see no pop up blocker or anything unusual. Right now when I try to highlight the address of this page, the 'copy' does not show as highlighted and therefore does not work.

If I open FF it does.
