PalmPilot Software "DietLog"

....long long long shot but ,

in 2000 i bought "Diet-Log" software for 50$usd for my PalmPilot, now ready to reinstall on new unit and have LOST my password !!!

i have contacted the company, which of course has now been bought by another company and the software i have is "no longer supported"

any ideas ? any help on this one ?

to bad it was such a great suite of programs did the complete round of food & exercise, dang it ....

I have the feeling someone here will answer this better but here is an idea.

Not sure where you live but if in HK you can go to one of the major computer centres and I'll bet one of the guys working in shops that sell Palm or used to will fix it in no time.

good idea i shall take this mess with me next visit to the computer center

to rub salt in the wound , i just found my original sales receipt from April 02, 2001 !

but NO software key ..

i thought i might just bypass the reg key data in the program but i cannot access the setup file, its packed inside an install wizard. i suppose there is a way once on the palm....hmmm.... <<still determined>>

Although I have been a Blackberry gal for several years I do miss my Palm Pilot. I used to play a jewel game on it , cannot remember the name and loved the sound of the tiles clicking around.......weird, I know. I also liked entering small data like appointments with the sylus.
