Bollinger Tent

Have guests over visiting Hong Kong, tempted to take them to the Bollinger Tent for Saturday or Sunday - is this experience worth the $10,000 or is the money better spent at Dragon-i or something like that?

You wont get the pretty people at the tent ... but from what I heard today, it looks good and with free flowing drinks it might be worth it.

We'll be popping and out of there to listen to the band (have tickets) on Friday.

Hopefully then the tent will have a good atmosphere or something, it's a corporate crowd I am taking in anyways but I only heard about the tent through this site and you don't sound convinced...

I probably sounded unconvinced -- given that you brought up Dragon-I.

I know it will be a great party .. lots of alcohol and great music. Just not sure if it meets the "this is the posh and pretty thing to do in HK .." comparison with Dragon-I.

A fair number of our members are involved at various levels with the tent / village / big-top ... so obviously I'm biased and I'm going to be there.

Looks like the Corporate four are into Rugby, and attending the Sevens, only free to meet after the matches therefore I am inclined to take them to the Bollinger Tent as it seems the closest to the stadium... thoughts?

Yeah, if you need to get them to yourself - roll them out of the stadium into the tent and keep them there, away from all the other distractions.

I'd call Iron Monger if I were you. Last I heard -- most of the tables were sold out.
