Pho Saigon, Nha Trang

>>Hi All, just wondering where all the Vietnamese people are at in HK and who can show me where a real Viet restaurant is? No phony Viet food please because I already had some here

Cheers<<

there is a good place in Hennessy Road where you can get a great bowl of pho. It?s located between Wanchai and CWB. Will check out the exact address and let you know!
So far, my favourite place is Nha Trang in 88-90 Wellington Street in Central. Haven?t tried the pho yet, but love the bun bo there...

Very disappointed though...thought there were many more Viets in the house...

Fairwood is serving faux-pho, and it's not bad actually! Should try it if you're looking for a pho fix

Cool

Hi everyone,

My wife and I just moved here from the states and it's nice to know that we do have a decent Vietnamese community here. Maybe one of these days I can come to one of those "dam tra" and hang out.

Your Experiences in Hong Kong

Hi there,

I am a German Vietnamese, and am planning to move to Hong Kong with my family.

After a 2 weeks stay in HK, my wife and I have a strong desire to move to Asia, especially to Hong Kong. Having been living in Germany for more than 23 years, we are feeling like going back to our Asian root.

The first hurdles for me is to find a job, to apply for residence permit, and to look for appropriate housing for my 1.5 years old daughter.

I am writing to you in the hope of getting to know some of your experieces of moving to&living in Hong Kong.

Would be great if we could get in touch with one another.

Linh

PS: not reading through all the messages of this thread, I could not figure out whether there is a Vietnamese community in HK. Have you found any?
