Pilot lessons. Fly a glider

Hi - I want to learn to fly a glider. Just had a look at the courses provided by Hong Kong Aviation Club. And I'm really put off by the time it takes to get a license with them. Any idea where I can do a crash course (no pun intended) in Asia?

Liz

Hi there Liz! I've been looking for glider lessons. I heard they have them in Shek O but i can't seem to find them on the HK Aviation Club website!

Can you direct me to a website or anything?

Thank you so much!

Shek O is paragliding, which is not what most people mean by "gliders". For paragliding see here: http://www.hkpa.net/

For private pilot lessons, check out this link - http://www.hkaviationclub.com.hk/course_offer.htm

Here is the FAQ they have on the website- http://www.hkaviationclub.com.hk/pilotqna.htm

Just that you know, there is a 30,000HKD entrance fee + 2900HKD hourly fee for the lessons.

Oi still no words on where i can do a crash course! I don't want to spend a whole year to get this thing.
