A fair warning to everyone who might be inclined to ask for too much or pay too much -- while there seems to be a bit of a frenzy building up there is a good chance that you might get the tickets on the day of the game at the stadium as several people tend to sell their tickets at the very last moment.

Indeed - anyone paying more than about $1500 for a three day ticket is absolutely mad in my opinion. You'll be able to pick up Sunday tickets (the hardest part) for about $1000 or less outside the ground on the day. That's even if you don't have any friends with spares offering them for a few beers.

Last year, Bought each day ticket at the door, on the mornings on arrival, when i worked out the total at the end, it was even cheaper then buying a regular priced 3 day ticket.

Hope the morons asking for crazy prices now cant off load them..

I managed to pick up a ticket from a friend for 880 all 3 days.

Last year I paid 900 for the 3 days at the gate
This year got them for free..so really no pointof paying +1000.........

Yup - I'm already being offered Friday and Saturday for free from people who have one of the boxes. Sunday would likely not be a problem.

But having siad that I'm thinking of giving it a miss this year - the cost to my waistline of two and a half days solid drinking and eating is more than I want to deal with at the moment.

I'd be more than happy to pay face value for any spares. Me and my friends were in the queue that got cheated out of the tickets this year...
It's sad thinking of the empty seats that appear every year due to the corporates that get them for free and just don't bother to turn up without a thought for the real fans!
