i heard this was under review - is this park /area still being developed? also what are they doing with kai tak airport area? is it going to turn into a park? i think HK needs more parks...

I am not against parks at all. But, you do realize Hong Kong has tons and tons of parks? I forget the percent amount of protected parks and lands etc...I think somewhere around 25%.

Kai Tak is being turned in to housing/shopping/cruise ship port and some small parks.

As for west Kowloon, I am not sure. I don't keep up on news about it. But, as far as I know it is still talk and thats all.
