Will be moving to Hong Kong from Thailand shortly and will definitely need some domestic help, as my washing/ironing/cleaning skills have faded to almost nothing.

Was thinking about a Thai maid, as I can speak Thai, am used to the culture, and might be able to persuade her to cook sometimes. Is a Thai maid a cheaper or more expensive alternative? What's the basic MO for getting a part-time maid (say 2x/week for cleaning and 1x/week for washing)?
