Something's wrong with my Sony digital camera, either lens or LCD.
Can anyone recommend a reliable camera repair centre besides Sony which would cost a lot more i think.

Might have some in the Mongkok area but need some directions. Thanks heaps

I think you will find that if it is out of warranty then it will almost be cheaper and less painful to buy a new camera.
I say that because a colleague had a similar issue that the LCD didn't work and it cost almost HKD2,000 to fix it but it took over 6 weeks.
If he had bought a new camera he would have had a better one for HKD2,500 and been able to use it.
That said, if it is a high end model it may be worth the investment.

ya that's true so I'm hoping its something minor and not the LCD or lens thats at fault.
So just wondering which reliable shops are there where I can check it out and repair tho

contact sony , they may likely refer you to a local hk repair shop that is authorized by sony. sometimes these local locations are listed on the warranty white paper.

also check the sony (anyway) to make sure there are no recalls on your camera model.

with the advice on this thread i got my camera fixed by Sony Exit D2 Mongkok turn right straight away u see espirit go into that building take the lift up to the 9th floor... for those who doesnt know the way.

Call first to confirm the location and hours but they were at this address last year as I had my iPod repaired 3x's. Its in the Times Square Building, go up the escalator to the fist level mall landing, make "u-turn" enter into the Bank office building and up to the 17th floor.

Bring your receipt if you have it. If you can possibly help it don't go on Saturday its quite crowded and conversely not during a weekday morning. .
