It's not food or drinks.. but didn't the KCR West Rail have a free ride day because of that little explosion recently?

Anyway... here's hoping more places follow and we can get free hot pot dinners at Cafe de Coral!
hey. you are talking about which explosion.

It was a fire in a tunnel not an explosion.

Actually I did report the free coffee on Thursday.

Alas I fear I was too obtuse for most punters, as there were only 30+ hits on that thread.
I was there bright and tenish at IFC mall and there was an orderly line of perhaps 40 people, a lot of smiling staff greeting everyone, some fellows with clipboards interviewing with the standard inane Qs eg where did you learn about this promotion?

Within 10 minutes it was my turn and I was handed a receipt for $20, which I gave the barista next in line for my coffee and a small cup which contained a brownie chunk.
This stuff sustained me for my next queue which was for tickets for that evening showing of 300. Then it was back to Starbucks for another queue session, including another interview and free cuppa.
3 lines in 30 minutes. I think I am done with queues now for the rest of the year.
