| | looking for part-time helper/babysitter or sharing a maid Hi, do you know any helper or babysitter with flexible schedule? I don't know how may days and hrs I need her for each week, it depends on my husband's schedule. Sometime she needs to stay a little late if we go out at night til 3 in the morning. Or you know anyone wants to shar a maid??
Thank you | |

| | | unless the DH is a permanent ID holder they are not allowed to work for more than one employer at a time. It is illegal and there are tough penalties if caught, all it takes is a neibour or someone who knows the maid to report you. | |

| | | True(ish), but I have never seen any plausible first-hand reports of that actually happening.
It's not just permanent ID holders - anyone on a dependent visa (except if dependent on someone on a study visa) could also do this legally.

| | | Mai - posting a note in the supermarket / DB Club will get you a ton of responses from helpers who are local to DB. | |

I think you'd be asking for trouble if you did that. And I'm surprised if the supermarkets still allow that in DB - they don't in other areas.

Nothing wrong with putting one up with something like "Looking for part time maid in DB, must have Permanent ID card or dependant visa, call 9999 9999"
