i hear that office buildings/shopping complexes can be more profitable than luxury hotels - so the Ritz-Carlton will soon be making way for another good ol' super prime grade A office building... the same fate as the poor ol' Hyatt in TST...
Well, the Cheung Kong Center used to be the Hong Kong Hilton... and I have heard the same about the Ritz.
frickin 'ay. well, i gotta say that i do love that bit of town - cheung kong centre, BOC building and citibank plaza. that one square mile of land just oozes power and riches galore...
