Scart cable / adapter

Hey there,

Any idea where can I buy a scart cable, preferably Island side...

Alternatively, a scart adapter would do the trick as well.

Standard electronics stores (like Fortress) don't house such items here as scart is not used here...

Thanks for your help, pretty urgent to get my self-imported VCR & TV working again... and no, it's not the time to dump the VCR yet as we've got some hometown language cartoons on tapes that the kids need to watch to keep up the language...

I have one you can have if you wish. No VHS for me here so I won't need it. has standard video and s-video jacks like the piccy, but no input/output switch, just a switch that says VHS/SVHS.

Or failing that I have one I used to use for my Xbox, just the standard video jacks on it though. (no svideo).

Take your pick and drop me a PM if interested.

Hmm, if the adaptor is still going spare, I would gladly give you some cash for it. Same situation, bought my DVD player over not realising that Scart isn't common here, so need to convert.

It's not uncommon here it's non-existent! Most people here have never heard of SCART.

Confirmed that adapter cables with six phono leads on the other end are being sold along Ap Liu Street - there I can sleep better now.
