the way of writing CV..
think about it, if you are an employer, what kind of person u want to employ..

then write your CV based on that... 8-P

i don't have fantastic credential but i have tonnes of interviews. just the same principle

I agree that lots of the job-hunting web is targeted at the underpaid mass of local minimum-wage slaves.

I also got my offer outside hk and come to hk to start the first job in my life.

But I find the job doesnt fit me well. Hard to explain in a few lines. I am working in a quite local industry but I am not local, born and grew up in hk like many colleagues. The firm is nice, large scale and sort of with high reputation, but the work is boring and I cannot see a bright career path ahead. Senior management are most expats as well, but they seldom get the truth about my situation. Now i am sort of looking for other jobs in HK, but i find it is not easy to get a decent job with good payment package. One big obstacle is the network in hk for me is limited and i am not experienced enough to approach the headhunting. i am also striving to get the sloution now.

this applies if you work in a local run company and also the people around you... HK ppl has the thought that they are the best than the rest..so that is why they do discriminate against other South East Asians. Singapore is different, as it's more multicultural

I was just reading the post and noticed that the majority of people got theirs in HK while they are physically in HK. So how are you guys find the jobs ? I mean are you guys using agents in HK or via website or via newspaper ?
