StarTV - Ads during American Idol

Is it me or does anyone else who has kids find it rather inappropriate that Star TV insists on showing ads of some Baywatch rip off show during the 6PM broadcast of American Idol?

Normally, I'd not care, but it just happens that our five year old son has started enjoying the show and has to sit through atleast 2-4 30 second promos of Falcon Beach with way too much ummm .. inappropriate content.

Not to mention that atleast one other commercial for another show ends with the line "lets go upstairs and have sex instead" ... great .. just need him to repeat that in his playgroup.

(Ok .. back to work ..)

amen to this. you're not alone in your prudishness.
i find star world ads 'inappropriate' all hours of the day. desperate housewives etc... not exactly kid friendly. i've actually thought about writing to them about this. our kids have been watching AI for the last couple of years and the ads make me cringe. we've taken to muting the tv on the commercial breaks.
they're not only risque, but boring too. i actually miss some of the clever ads for products that we get back home. star runs the same ads for the same lame shows over and over again.

I have sent this link to my friend at Star TV.

Even though I don't have kids, I agree with you.

It was the same way 12 years ago with the stupid Baywatch ads.
