| | | Milk Anyone?? I have been finding the milk that I buy funny tasting, probably because it is made out of milk powder.
Anyone has any suggestions for fresh milk? Which brand? Where to buy?

| | You could go to City Super or Taste and get the imported ones. I'm going off diary here....local tastes a little strange and too poor to get imported stuff! | |

| | | All fresh milk tastes like that as its imported from China hence no dairy farms in HK.
Dairy farm is a brand I use and its fine. available from anywhere.

| | | I have been here for years and years and I still won't eat local eggs or buy China meat, milk and most veg.
For milk, I buy the tetra pack Pauls or I go to Olivers to buy US organic milk.

| | | Get a brand called "Pure" milk. It's imported from Australia and is available in most of the "expat" grocery stores: CitySuper, Great, Oliver's. It's not exactly the same as what I'm used to (US milk), but it's darn close! | |

| | | I have never tried it, but a friend of mine told me that "Masters" tastes good. You can buy it from Wellcome. | |

Can't stand the Carnation milk - that stuff is putrid.

| | | UHT milk, the brand varies on what ever is cheaper that week. The problem is avoiding high calcium milk, that's what makes it taste grim. Often skimmed milk isn't modified.
Go for UHT as it has almost unlimited shelf life, only need one or two cartons in the fridge. They fixed the bad taste it used to have almost a decade ago.
