the regulations differ (such as quarantine, paperwork, etc.) dpending on where the animal is from. Check the region specificities. i know most western countries are exempt from quarantine but not sure about coming from rest of asia.
My partner is bringing our cat to hong kong from the US and it doesn't need to be quarantined though there's paperwork to fill out.
then u have to go to or mail your application to the cheung sha wan agricltural/fisheries department and pay HK$432 fee. check out the website above for further details.
