I saw a park that might be for dogs and operated by the SPCA in Wan Chai on my way into the hunghom tunnel today. Does anyone know if it is dogs, and if it is open to the public?

just got off the phone with the spca. it is a dog park. it is open to the public. they think it might be open in april, but she does n't know.

It is across the road from SPCA's pedestrian entrance.
You can see the park if you ride on the upper deck of a cross harbor tunnel bus.

I just saw in the SCMP yesterday that this park opens sometime this week and will be only one of six parks in HK that allows dogs.

There was a photo in the front page of the SCMP and looks pretty decent.

Hopefully people will clean up after their dogs.

Should be fun for my little KC Spaniel.

there's one in Happy Valley on Kwai Fong Street. Next to the police station.

the one in happy valley is operated by the Jockey club. I assume the LSD operated 5 other ones??

Hi, the park is definately open now but has no gates on the entrance- seems a bit silly with all the main roads around.

I have a safety issue with this also. Called the SPCA recently about it after seeing a puppy run out into the street. They said that they have received a few calls, and will consider putting in a proper fense with a gate at the enterance if they get more complaints about safety.
