Zelda blows? Wow, I don't know if you can possibly be satisfied then.

well...to me...an adventure game for the year 2007 must have 2 things:

open fields to explore
able to jump

zeld has neither...

I agree, I don't like the fact that you are stuck and sometimes you just can't carry on, onto the next thing.

The Zelda world is very nice, but the flow of the game is pretty frustrating.

Try playing the game. More and more of the world opens up to you (which keeps it from getting stale) as your character develops. Eventually, you have a full world to explore, using all your new skills. This is exactly what makes the game so good; interesting that people complain about that very trait.

elistan is on a distinguished road
Yes, Zelda is a great game ... what I love about it is the exploration ... sometimes when your stuck you think of an idea and say "What if I use the whatever *item* on this object?" and it works ...

i am playing it...

i am referring to the fact that you have a path to run down...as opposed to a giant open area to explore...

compare the "openness" of zelda with the openness of other games like Gothic (PC) or even Mario 64 ( i think thats the one)

if you are saying that it will become similar to the vastness of gothic 3 further into the game...then maybe it will be better later...its just I played about 10 hours of game time so far...and im still stuck on these tiny paths

AND...not to mention that an action / adventure game character can't jump on his own????????????

Im sorry...but that to me is just the biggest lack of ablity in a game....
picture mario not being able to jump...lol
