| | sai kung we would be moving to Hk in July 2007 and highly likely to choose Sai Kung for residence. For those of you who are livng there, may i know:
1. During the typhoon seasons each year, is Sai Kung harder hit?
2. Any good gym facilities around there?
3. Any education services such as tuition/learning support avilable in Sai Kung, or do we need to go to Shatin?
Thanks alot. | |

| | | Typhoon? No more so than other areas of HK. You might get more leaves and branches from trees on the roads but they're usually cleared up by the next day.
There is/was a small gym opened up opposite pepperonis.
A lot of ex-pat teachers live in the Sai Kung area, so if you're after English tuition, you wouldn't have a problem finding one.

Thats some budget! You can get yourself a massive place for that amount, Your typical village house is 2100 sq feet excluding rooftop.

Thanks | My friends live there and its true, dogs are always barking, but the upside is they have a huge house for the same budget that I have a tiny appartment in HK... and they have less pollution too. |
