I know there are already plenty of threads on cable TV but I couldn't find what I was looking for amongst old discussions.

I have recently moved to HK and have gone to PCCW and subscribed to Netvigator Broadband and installed a fixed tel phone. We were only told then that our building has no NOW TV reception.

I am keen to have cable TV in my home to watch the usual international news and French TV5. Can someone advise me which other companies I can try? Otherwise I might end up not having any TV at home at all, as the local channels do not interest me.

The only other legal alternative is CableTV, but as far as I can see from their channel lineup at http://www.cabletv.com.hk/cs_si.htm they don't carry TV5 (although they do carry German, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese & Korean channels!)

For French TV5 in HK you have 2 choice: Now TV or Satelitte: Check http://www.tv5.org/TV5Site/reception/dans_le_monde.php
