HuangShan (Yellow Mtn) travel tips ???

Just returned from a very cloudy and somewhat disappointing huangshan trip.

Can anyone recommend their experience ? Time of year to visit ? Places to visit ?

From what little i was able to see through the thick fog I realized I do want to return but when the conditions are super !

Thank you all.

The best time to visit Huangshan is either late spring or early autumn, IMHO.

Sand is on a distinguished road
We went around October, a bit cold but the skies were clear and the views were crystal clear.

Hey, I departed to Huangzhan on Feb 22 and spent two days up there. The first day was rainning, while the 2nd day is fantasic .. I've taken nearly 200 pictures through the whole trip together at HongZhou.
