Not "recommended". Sometimes, for non-Chinese speakers, it's a case of going with whatever is in English.

OUHK has a top-up degree with U. of Birmingham
HKMA last year started a tourism mgt degree with Curtin.
HKU Space does a top-up degree programme with The Scottish Hotel School, University of Strathclyde. It also has some cert and dip courses. But with Space, it might say English, it doesn't necessarily mean the tutor can speak English.

My fiancee has been looking at possible courses at SPACE so that's a somewhat worrying comment. Could you expand a little? Have you personal experience of non-English-speaking tutors on allegedly English courses?

SHAPE has a top up degree in international tourism and hospitality (or something like that) with Sheffield Hallam University, much as it pains me to give recommendations to a competitor.

I offer
Business and Management
Accounting and Finance
Marketing
Supply Chain Management
Business Info Systems
Multimedia and Entertainment Technology

Places available!

I have!! But with OUHK...Well the tutor himself was English speaking.. but I missed out on most of the classroom discussions as they ended up to be in Cantonese...

I have. I took a course at HKU SPACE last year and although the language of instruction is supposed to be in English - since most of the students and lecturers are local, they invariably start reverting to speaking in Cantonese.

In any case, I would not recommend any of the SPACE courses. The HK style of education seems to consist of non-native English speaking lecturers reading off their powerpoint slides for an hour and a half.

You'd probably learn more and faster by picking up a text book, reading it yourself, and discussing it with friends.

I dropped the course along with a few other classmates. It was THAT bad.

All our courses are 50% delivered by UK lecturers so I can guarantee they are in English. The other 50% should be in English, but as someone else pointed out the tutors are Cantonese speaking and the students are as well so pretty sure they slip into Cantonese to discuss things (but not when I am in the room!). All of these top up degrees should be identical or very similar to the courses run in the UK/Australia but it does depend on the management of the course. If you are thinking of applying for one of these partnership courses ask what percentage are taught by the overseas partner, are the assessments the same, is it under the same quality assurance system
