Hi All,

I have recently moved to HK and am thinking of living on the HK Gold Coast. http://www.goldcoast.com.hk/apart.htm
Does anybody live there of have experience of living there - it looks pretty nice and very good value for money.....central is only 25 mns my bus etc....I will be working in the Causeway Bay area -

Any thoughts?

Have you had a chance to tour the Gold Coast properties as of yet? My wife (her profile) and I are anticipating a move to HK by as early as Sept. or Oct. of this year. She will be in HK in a couple of weeks and may take a review of the area. Since you live there already-do you have any additional suggestions on other similar properites?

yeah yeah - don't kid yourself - Gold Coast is only 25 minutes by fast helicopter from Central. Don't believe the marketing hype - it takes ages and ages to get there from Central so do not expect a 25 minute ride - more like over an hour. Saying that, once you get there it is very nice..............

Hi David,

I live in the HK Gold Coast & I love it here. It's maybe 30 mins to TST (we have a shuttle bus) but I'd say it's about an hour to Causeway Bay. It is nice being out of the town though. We've got a great beach and the biggest outdoor pool in HK. The properties over the road, Ageon Coast (OOops, how do you spell that?!), are nice & cheaper too I'm told.
