Hi,

I came recently to HK and I am living with my wife here. As I still do not have a job in HK I was looking around to find a bank which issues debit card which I could even use for online payments. Banks like BOC are issuing something call virtual credit cards. for me it doesn't work as it requests for my JOB details. But when I was living in SL there was something called "Visa Electron Card" some say visa debit card. which actually works like normal visa credit card but the difference is, it is linked to your savings account and you can only utilize the money which you have in your account! and you can't take any credits as it's a debit card

My request is if you guys know any bank in HK where I can get myself a debit card like "Visa Electron" or any other debit cards which allows me to do online shopping for which I don't have to give my JOB details and others; Please let me know.
