designer handbags

When I first visited HK in November, someone took me to a locked designer handbag shop that was obviously illegal. It was in Central on Queens Rd, I think. It was up a flight of stairs and had a very impressive and not cheap collection of designer bags for sale.

I would like to bring someone there, but do not remember where it was. The person who showed me is now long gone as well.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? Perhaps it is better if I forget about it, as it was kind of sketchy.

What brands are you looking at? There're a shops like Milan Station that does both brand new and second hand bags. There's also YMK, that sells designer bags at about 10% to 20% cheaper. There's a YMK in Shun Tak Building. I'm not quite sure what shop you're talking about though. Maybe if you could give more details.

I just wanted to take my mom when she visits. I know there is kind of an ethical dilemma here, but she has always wanted to buy some designer bags at great prices that may not be genuine. She does not have lots of extra cash, but loves handbags. Ladies Market will not cut it. I tell her to save up and buy one good bag and have it forever. I should just buy her one sometime, but I have 3 small kids and life is expensive. Besides, I do not carry a designer bag!

When is your mum arriving? Look, if you're willing to bite the bullet, catch the KCR east to Shenzhen. Go to Luwo mall, which is right next to the KCR, there'll be bags galore there for you and your mum! It'll prob cost like a fraction of what you'll pay at ladies market too. Prob something like HKD100 to 300 for good fakes.

Ummm where do you think the stalls at ladies market get there stock from? And the fakes there are category a's exactly the same as in Shenzhen.

The ones on public display are usually category b's and c's in case customs comes along and takes them.

Hi Shorty,
I'm arriving in Hong Kong on Monday night and am planning to go to Shenzhen over the first few days.
If you still want to go, reply to me and we'll organise it.

best bet is shenzhen luo wu commercial city if u have time? my girlfriend bought a marc jacobs red handbag 2 wks ago for 400 yuan. Remember to ask for A+ quality though as the other bands are not too good?. They dont display A+ goods and have to get them from upstairs so dont be fooled in them just whipping out a handbag from underneath the counter and telling u this is A+. Haggle hard is the motto too!!!

I'll join again too if it's the 25, 26, 27. Also, remember I need 4 days notice to get a Visa since I'm a silly American and can't get one at the border.
