Seriously though, None from HK as the furthest the boats go from here is to Macau and South China.

What do you mean take a boat from Hk to Vietnam? Do you mean a commercial boat to go to Vietnam or private boat to take to Vietnam?

Are you talking about a cruise? I saw a poster in the MTR station only yesterday. I don't read so good but it seemed to be advertising cruises from Hainan to Vietnam. I'll take another look should I see it again. Of course you still need to get to Hainan though.

I know there are cruises from Hong Kong around the region (Phillipines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam) but if you are after a ferry service, I think you might be out of luck.
