Don't ask me why I know, but there is a place called shoegirl in CWB that can make custom handbags and shoes. About one block away from Times Square mall. you can call at 28341023. a friend had a purse made there that was of good quality.

I had a hard time shoe shopping (being a size 13Uk) but I found If you go to enough shops eventually you will find something. I found a pair of Addidas sneakers so I was happy. Im not too sure about the leather/formal type shoes, I bought over a pair from home. Good luck with your shoe shopping.

I passed a shop in Prince's Building in Central that I think makes custom leather shoes. Looked like really high quality--mostly men's shoes on display.

crazy expensive, but you can't beat the shoes or the experience.

the second article mentions another place in admiralty centre which is far cheaper. it doesn't give much of a review, and i've never been there, but it may be worth checking out.

To deviate slightly from your question there is a very good shoe shop in Johnston Road in Wan Chai that specialises in shoes for expats - i.e big sizes. They don't make shoes but they do stock large sizes which has always been a problem for me here being a UK size 12 and a fan of Dr Marten shoes.

Can't remember the name of the shop but it is at 210 Johnston Road and the service was excellent and the prices are about a third less than in the UK. If you are looking for large size shoes (trainers or formal shoes) then give this place a try. If you offer cash you can get a 10% discount on marked prices. Aficionados of Dr Martens (like me) should definitely try this place.

Cant find any nice shoes in HK. Thought I would find fake designer shoes eg Jimmy Choos . Some one told me Vicki's is the place but I searched all along Leighton Rd Causeway Bay and couldn't find. Please help

There is a Left Foot Shoe counter at Regal Fashions which is on the ground floor of Houston Centre in TST East
This is the computerised sytem of making shoes that fit you from Finland I think.
only men's shoes from $2000+ and takes 3 weeks.
