| Does anyone have any experience with LIII LIII shop? What a pair of mens shoes (all leather incl. sole) would cost? Do you need to negotiate price with them? | |

| | | That 210 Johnston Rd and the shop across from it have quite a few large sized shoes on display claiming steel toe. Some of them seemed a bit too elegant for industrial shoes which is what I associate steel toes with. What's the selling point of steel toes - have they gone mainstream? | |

| | | LII LII shoes - I had a few pairs made there for special occassions, they are very comfortable, leather soles, you can choose your heel height and they have books full of the latest Designer shoes that they can copy and you can choose the fabric / leather and colour.I paid 1800HK for full leather shoe and 1200HK for strappy sandal.Worth every penny and fraction of price of real thing. | |

My friend just ordered there a pair of leather mens shoes and they asked for HK$3600. Seems to be very expensive, especially for such a simple style.

I got a few pairs of sandals made - some fitted very nicely, some had to be remade. Back then I paid about HK$ 900 per pair. The prises have raised since considerably - thus we have not been back.

But seriously, anyone, what's the purpose?
