Using a firewall with HGC broadband

Hello all,

I have been using HGC broadband for a couple of weeks, and can't keep an internet connection if I use a firewall. It will cut out after a minute or two. I am thinking a firewall is essential, so does anyone know what the problem is?

Thanks

Try disabling the firewall and see if your connection stays up.

Yes, the connection is fine without the firewall. I am kind of tired of calling HGC and having them reset the connection or whatever it is they do every time I turn a firewall on.
