Mid-levels makes it very accessible for everywhere else like LKF, Central etc.
To be honest, it can be expensive there but depends on what you are looking for.
If you are going to wrok on Gdn Road then you don't necessarily need to live in Mid-Levels.

| | Your may check the geoexpat classified ads to find two or three available apartments in the district directly from owners, without the need for paying agency commission: http://www.geoexpat.com/classifieds/showcat.php/cat/12 Quote:

I have around HKD7500,- to spend on rent monthly and prefer sharing an appt. is this reasonable?? any suggestions for websites/agencies, what to do and what not to do?

| | | Too many yuppies in mid-levels from my experience! But if you like being in the centre of the universe, then that?s your place. Personally, I like to live somewhere with a tree or two, and some open spaces to boot. | |

| | | For HK$ 7500 you could get small ( may be very small) Studio apts in Soho in Midlevels . Shared accommodation might also be a possibility, especially in the Kennedy Road area.
Anything bigger in Midlevels will be expensive.
If you are working in Hopewell Center, you don't necessarily have to stay in Midlevels of course. Try Wanchai or Causeway Bay or Happy Valley or Tai Koo Shing or Kornhill. Or North Point. All of these are in in HK island and within easy commute. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 05:21 AM. | |
