Where to rent??

Hi

I'll be working in Quarry Bay.

Estimate rental budget to be between 30K and 40K.

I dont really want to live in a shoebox, so had considered going a bit further out-field (Sai Kung, Kowloon, etc...) but told by agencies that this is not a good idea.

I need to be close to ESF school.

Any suggestions or resources? I've exhausted gohome and hongkonghomes

If you're looking for a place for one person then 30-40K should get you something plenty big enough near Quarry Bay (I'm guessing a reasonably nice 1200 sq.ft place). I really wouldn't want to commute Sai Kung to Quarry Bay every day.

Whampoa gardens?. very convienient and large flats available. Commuting to Q. bay should be either kowloon city ferry to Q bay or hung hom to wanchai?. hint? no traffic congestion?
