Any Starbucks or Pacific Coffee will have them. Ikea, Wing On, and Sincere too.

Most department stores and also high end supermarkets like Great (Pacific Place in Admiralty) or City Super (Times Square in Causeway Bay or IFC in Central).

I guess you may have got it by now but just FYI, I got mine from Starbucks which is actually Bodum. It's much better price than Bodum itself.

Any household store in a small local mall (like Japan Home Centre, etc). It won't have the fancy packaging, but you'll get the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

Thanks a lot everyone. I couldn't find it at Wing On or at Citi Super..Probably I was just looking in the wrong place. Ended up just trying a lot of coffee places near the escalator, which was also ok as had lots of fun. Just out of interest, how much is the one you found at Starbucks boblam07? Do let me know. I'm coming back in a month so want to see whether I should buy it here in London or come to Starbucks Hong Kong! Thanks!

I have used them in the past and I just could not seem to get it right. I tried various coffees and different waters and still it was just awful.

What's the secret? It's such a clever way to make coffee.

snagito, I think

HK$180 for the smallest one (12oz or 3 4-ounce cups) HK$200 for the next larger one (likely 16oz)
HK$240 for 24 oz
and somewhere around HK$300 for 32oz

32oz Bodum should be around HK$400+ at Great.

Let me know how it compares to pricing in London.

goodkarma, try here for the tip

You also need a decent grinder, either hand (manual) or electric one which is rather pricey.

Hi,

I got mine from Sogo Causeway Bay, forgot which floor, they have a good selection of different models and sizes at reasonable prices.
