Hi can anyone advise me what are my options?

My wife is a PRC chinese, I am from HK and hold a british passport.

We have just had pur baby in China and now I am working in HK. Pleae let me know how to arrange for my family to join me here.

Currently my wife applied for a 3month visa for or baby, but means we have to renew every time. I want a more long term or permenant solution. Can I aply for a denpendent visa for them both? and can thi be done in HK? at the moment we have to fly to beijing to apply for the 3 month visa and it cost a lot for us.

heard its abit difficult for chinese national. unless the person has another foreign passport. i have seen cases of chinese with singaporean, with japanese, etc.etc. the immigration office tend to be quite picky with the chinese women and not likely to give an easy time.
