primary school questions

We shall be moving to HK in August and are looking at schools. Like many who have posted previously, i have questions about schools and suburbs.
There are two schools of interest - St Margarets and PLK Cameos.
i have a few maps of hong kong, but i can't gauge travelling time on the train.
What are likely travel times from:
Sham Shui Po to wong tai sin
Yau Ma Tei to wong tai sin

what about living in shek kip mei, Yau yat Tseun, kowloon tong- i am getting these areas from maps - are they pure public housing type apartments or condo type apartments (eg pool, playground etc)

I would appreciate any information.
thanks.

Perth,

Haven't heard of these schools. Are they international schools?

Thumbs up

Perth,

The two schools you have mentioned are local co-educational schools that offer classes with English as the medium of instruction. For more info, try their links:

For St. Margaret's Co-Educational English Secondary and Primary School
http://www.smcesps.edu.hk/acdev.htm

For PLK (Po Leung Kuk Camoes Tan Siu Lin School)
http://pcs.hkcampus.net/

As for train traveling times, check them out for yourself using the Journey Planner at:

Hope that helps,

M

Thanks Max, i've tried those links. I wanted to know if they were truly English medium schools and whether their clientele were 100% local. I wondered if anyone had some first hand or second hand experience with these schools.
