| Is island life with 2 young kids practical? Hi there, Moving to HK in March/April and considering the idea of island life. Like the idea of all the wild outdoors, beaches etc. a whole lot but with 2 very young children, we're not sure if this will work re; schools, health facilities and the need for to be able to sometimes get home late from dinners etc. on HK Island. With a max budget of 20k p/m, rent is also a key factor for us. We would love to hear the experiences of anybody in a similar situation who is living on Lamma, Lantau or other islands/ outlying districts of HK. Also contacts of good local real estate agents, websites etc. would be useful. Cheers, Charlie. Last edited by vinachas; 23-01-2007 at 02:06 PM. Reason: forgot something |
