| | | Security Professional really wanting to move to HK Hi,
Hope someone can give me the advice I need. I am a UK based information security professional with skills in risk management and network security with over 6 years of experience and am looking to develop my career further. I have been to Hong Kong and love it I think it would be a great place to live and also develop my career due to the financial centre that it is.
My question is how likely am I to get a job here? Where should I look to find jobs aimed at non HK citizens? I unfortunatley do not speak Chinese, will this stop me or do most work places speak English? I can go to my local University in September to learn Mandarin would this be a good bet?
And finally of all my questions so far I have a daughter who is 8 who would need an English speaking school how easy is this to find? I am prepeared to pay for private education if necessary.
Thanks in advance | |

| | Check out classifiedpost.com and jobsdb.com for jobs in your field. I'm not sure about the qualifications you need or whether Chinese is necessary, so you'll have to find that part out yourself.
There are plenty of very good English-speaking schools in town. I went to a few myself and look how I turned out | |

| | | I'd suggest sending your details into agencies direct to be honest rather than check out sites such as jobsdb.com.hk or monster.
They usually won't have the types of jobs in your field of expertise.
