Hi there,

I am an urban development specialist from Germany, currently living in Manila (Philippines) and looking for a position in HK. I hold a degree in architecture as well as in city planning / urban design and have more than 13 years of experience within the field. I've already experienced, that it will be difficult to get a decent job in HK and from what I've read in this forum my expectations are not climbing. I've had some intervies and also a proposal, but due to some procrastenating projects it did not work out. The HK planning institue does not help a lot neither, although there is a list of offices which work in the city planning field.

Does anybody have some advices or contacts for city planning in HK?

You could try 'Llewelyn-Davies'. Had a friend who used to work for them in London and I am pretty sure they have an affiliate office in HK (my friend interviewed there afew years back).
