I ended up missing the Muse gig in Singapore as I got sidetracked but a frien that went said it was an awesome show. They had the advantage though that Singapore has proper venues for live bands and the setting made it ideal. I somehow doubt that a converted exhibition hall will do them much justice.
i will be out of town for this which is a shame as i would love to see them- especially doing New Born!

Amuse

Have seen them serveral times and they never get boring. They are amazing live! As long as you realise that they're a bit tongue-in-cheek and that they're not taking themselves too seriously, their OTT epic anthems are just incredible and will blow you away. I'm moving to HK next week (from London) and one of the first things i will be doing is going to this!

I won a couple of tickets to the general admission (A) section and could be talked into parting with them - given it's standing only and I'm 9 months pregnant - if anyone wants two discount tix. Send me a PM.

hmh, i might come back to that offer in case i find someone to go with me.
seen muse 3 times if not more and they are great - its impressive what wall of sound such a small band can produce, plus the effects are very 70s in the best sense...

Well, did people enjoy the gig!?

Muse were excellent as expected however the sound quality of the venue was absolutely atrocious. The sound improved as the concert progressed, but still terrible.

Reminded me of the days of the London Docklands Arena..........I don't think Asiaworld-Expo was really designed for concerts, was it!?

The organisation on the night was a little bit confusing also. I presume I wasn't the only one who bought a beer in the next hall and tried to go into the concert hall to be told that I wasn't allowed in with any beer. Bit of a con really!!

Their set was very good. Some tracks that they don't normally play!

i enjoyed it for the most part. but because we got the cheaper tickets, the crowd wasn't very.. responsive. and, people were blowing cigarette smoke into our face. blah. but muse was really amazing live.
