| | | PAL VHS to NTSC Service? Hello,
I would like to convert a home movie on PAL VHS tape to an NTSC DVD. Does anyone know of any service in HK that can do this?
Thanks!

| | | Don't know about any professional services that can do this but it's quite easy to do yourself. If you want I can go into detail. | |

| | | I just have 1 tape to do, so I really don't want to spend a lot of money doing it. If you know a way to do it with kind of common household electronics let me know.
Thanks! | |

| | | Quick question since you guys are discussing related stuff - will my UK television work in HK or is it a different system? And if the system is different, does that mean my DVD player is also no good in HK? | |

| | | Your UK tv will work here as they both adhere to the PAL I system. Your DVD player will work to an extent. If it is region-coded or otherwise known as zoned then it will only play DVDs sold for the European market i.e. region 2. HK uses region 3. If it is region-free then you will not have a problem playing DVDs from any region. | |
