POKER!!!! I want to play POKER!!!!

Hello guys, I am new to this forum.

I am coming back to Hong Kong for good in about a months time and I am wondering if there is any poker in HK? Any home games? Tournaments?

I am an avid poker player. Texas hold'em is my game but I also play Omaha.

I have a set of poker chips but I need a place to play. If anyone is hosting a game please let me know. Cheers

p.s. How about Macau? Any poker there?

went to the Wynn in Macau- I thought surely an American owned casino would have texas hold'em but was i wrong...
i'm not sure if anyone else shares this experience but Macau casinos are kinda depressing- it's strictly business- even the non-smoking area was full of thick smoke... hard core gamblers, mainland government officials playing with their most likely embezzled money (i'm serious i saw some guy pull out his "public official" passport and over US$30,000 in cash)
no strip, no huge all you can eat buffets, no weird outrageous costumes, no hilarious characters, no elvis, no showgirls, no cirque de soleil, no outlandish debauchery, no fun... and no texas hold-em...when I asked around several local Macau people told me that said it's best not to bluff with the hard core Chinese casino gamblers cuz a lot of them are too hotheaded and will seek retribution on whoever cleaned them out- they said it was safer to stick with the dealer...hmmm.....
i miss vegas....

nightly poker games

There are games being organized just about every night of the week including Sundays. The games are the King's Hotel Mahjong Club in Wanchai. Mostly Hold'em, some Omaha Hi/Lo. $1K buy-in. Fun game.

Plus, they have a $30-40K prize pool tourney every month. No-Limit Hold'em I think.

Check out the Geo Poker Hold'em Meetup.

We play Texas Hold'em poker every Friday and sometimes more often depending on interest.

Cheers,
Paul

cafc ... you can now play in Starworld in Macau. Only casino with it. 5/10 NL is the base game.

They even have an all-you-can-eat buffet too Mr. Bing. As well as clowns, ladyboys, rappers and dancers wearing outrageous costumes
