Just to be clear, you mean "billiards" in the Filipino sense (i.e. Pool, probably 9-ball, in the rest of the world) not "billiards as understood in many places which is a game played with three balls only on a full-size snooker table? If so, then do a search for posts by "Jumpshotrocky" in these forums - he is always up for games, preferably for money, and knows the places to go.

| Billiards as in American Billiards 8 ball, 9 ball games... as far as am concern, I think the word billiard is not a Filipino sense but plainly English just forgot to add the american.. But thanks for the reply.. Quote:

No Holes!! Hi. I think if you put a real billiards table infront of someone here there would be a lot of head scratching going on....... 3 balls...2 red..... 1 white ... no holes ...omg! There i go go showing my age again.

Hmmm, well that's yet another form - as played in continental Europe as far as I know. The British/Indian/... form has three balls and holes on a 12'x8' (full-size snooker) table. As opposed to "bar billiards" which is something else entirely. (As is "pocket billiards" for that matter.)

Joe's Billiards is the place in the King's Hotel which the OP said they weren't interested in (for reasons undefined).

Seems to be a long way around to answer the mans question.Whatever name one wants to call it, its the two and a quarter inch balls with a number on them, on a 9 X 5 pool table. Well if you dont want Joes at kings Hotel, perhaps the billiard house at Whampoa gardens ( near the shopping mall designed as a ship), which has about 6 9 X 5 Pool tables there. Click on "practice places" for other pool playing venues around the world @ <www.rockylane.org> , should you travel and looking for good places in other countries. Best regards, Rock.
