Smile Shopping for a fur mink coat and seasonable sales.
Hi everyone!

I happen to be in HK for a couple of days in February and just wondering if anyone crossed any good sales of the fur coats (preferabley mink ones). Please!!! Thank you in advance!


Also any good seasonable sales out there? Any advice will be highly appreciated!

i would think that a fur would rank up there with the ultra luxury items, especially since HK doesn't get cold enough to warrant a fur coat. i would highly doubt that they'd ever go "on sale"...

as for seasonal sales, there are usually HUGE sales after CNY...

There is actually an outlet mall in Tung Chung, near HK International airport. It is called Citygate Outlets. They carry brands such as Adidas, Nike, Vivienne Tam, Calvin Klein Underwear, Columbia, LensCrafters, etc. It is an outlet so it is ALWAYS on sale! Though it does not carry the latest season item but the merchandise are not as out-dated as those in Canada's outlet mall.

thank you, guys, very much!!! Can't wait to go shopping . Originally I am from Russia and about 50-60% of all furs here are imported from China...so I thought that in HK I could get better prices, hehe .

Hi Birina, perhaps you should forego buying fur because of animal cruelty invloved. There are other ways to keep you warm and trendy without the fur. Just a thought you may consider. Enjoy the HK SALE season.

Wearing real animal fur is disgusting, you should be shamed! If you just took the time to research what happens to animals to obtain their fur you would think twice about wearing it. Unless you already know and are just that selfish not to care. I hope you dont find a mink fur coat and I only hope you dont ever have to go through the pain that these poor animals go through to supply their coats!

Why don't you hunt/farm and skin your own animals? That'll be cheaper.

I agree with takamine!! Better yet, just drape a dead animal over your sholder, you will get the same response and looks from people. Looks of disgust by the way!
